CCTV control room video wall for a shared council, NHS trust and Surrey Police public safety partnership.
“Harp integrated in as part of the supply and installation team delivering a solution as advertised. We saw the system at Harp's premises and their installation at Southampton University and were convinced that was the solution for us. The clarity of image has been impressive as we have been used to individual CRT displays.”
— David Dood, Community Safety Manager, Runnymede Borough Council
Project overview
The Safer Runnymede CCTV system was established through a partnership between Runnymede Borough Council, Spelthorne Borough Council, Ashford St Peter's Hospitals NHS Trust and Surrey Police. Harp Visual was engaged to design and deliver the CCTV control room at the joint council and police headquarters in Addlestone.
The council used the relocation to replace ageing CRT-based infrastructure with modern display technology that could support a growing camera estate, improve image clarity and reduce disruption when equipment needed maintenance.
